Jean Shrem

Jean Shrem, principal of Shrem Law Group, has over 12 years of experience as an attorney.  She earned her J.D. Degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1997.  During the dot com era, Jean worked as in-house corporate counsel for software and technology companies for the first 4 years of her career.  Jean started Shrem Law Group in 2001 and has also been a licensed real estate broker since 2002.

As a seasoned business attorney and real estate broker, Jean is proficient in all types of real estate transactions, including residential, commercial, land, REO, Short Sales, 1031 Exchanges, Probate Sales and Conservatorships.  She also helps home owners with loan modification guidance and foreclosure advice.  Jean provides legal services to agents, brokers, buyers, sellers, home owners and investors.

As in-house corporate counsel, Jean worked with medium sized companies to ensure their businesses were legally protected while their profits were maximized.  She primarily licensed software and technology, protected intellectual property, ensured legal compliance and performed various other legal business services.
